One reason is that the refferes made so many bad calls on their other games. Another reason is that their team just didn't do good in the super bowl. They didn't get any touch downs that game and didn't gain that many yards. The only amount of points they got was a grand total of one field goal throughout that whole game. THe saints had a bad call on them by reff Bill Vinovich. He even admited to not even seeing the play and that it was a bad call.
