Students will be able to learn skill of connecting the dots that will help in future learning environments. Educator use the strategy of connecting prior knowledge to new information to create fundamentally building blocks for learning mathematics. Math is a language and each part is built on prior math concepts, so its important to connect each math concepts to ensure students are understanding basic math concepts that will connect to more complex math throughout learning.
