2./3. Yes I do think that Atticus is a good father. He plays with his children and he is very kind and understanding. His lessons he teaches his kids are very valuable. He teaches Jen and Scout values and he teaches them good lessons, which will help them become better people in life. If I had Atticus as a dad in this time frame I think I would have a great childhood and learn many lessons that are thought today by parents. This is proven here in this line "You never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view— until you climb into his skin and walk around in it." This is a lesson we all still learn today, and a great lesson fir him to teach Scout at such a young age. I feel that it did help her in this bike and she did use his advice. Also if she learned it young then she will understand people better and developed a better sense of who she knows.

I think that if I were to wake up and Atticus was my father, I'd think he'd be a good parent. I think this because of the constant references in the text, and how he acts. He stands up for what he believes in, and an example is when he defends a black man. He always sees both sides of an argument too, and we can see this when Scout says, “When Jem an’ I fuss Atticus doesn't ever just listen to Jem’s side of it, he hears mine too.” Finally, he does his best so his children can stay as safe as possible, such as when the ‘Mad dog’ attacks and he steps forward to shoot and eliminate it

This line in the book shows how Atticus doesn't want to tackle. Jem was football crazy.
