This was around the time when spring break was around the corner, and I thought it would only last a week. But I eventuallt came to realization that it lasted 2 years. And in those two years, a lot of people I know had changed. Some in a good way, and some not. I realized this when my once close friends had turned on me, dressed a different way, and hung out with different people. Due to this outcome, I was forced to change the way I acted, move away from stuff I liked, and change the way I looked just so I could fit in.

So I found some friends online, and we talked for days and hours. We would play video games, talk about random stuff in our lives, we would even talk to each other about our problems and help each other through them. This is one of the golden parts of my teenage years. But now since the years past, my friends online also changed in not so good way. They would make rude jokes, neglect how I would feel, and continuously leave me out of things they would do. Eventually, this lead to a 6-month-long conflict between us. We would get into a fight, then make up, and then fight again. This turned out to be another time when I had to change myself to fit their interest.

This relates to the theme because no matter how much you think someone won't change, you cannot stop time. At first, I was a bit nervous because I hadn't seen everyone from my elementary in a while and it was a new school so I would always get lost. During this time I was struggling with big amounts of anxiety/social anxiety, and personal problems at home. But I feel as if since we started, I have been changing as a person. I found new friends without the help of my old friends, I can socialize a bit with others, etc. That is why I look forward to this new chapter of my life that I am beginning to experience.
