I was first introduced to it in my old school after I finished my designated work, and was given a copy of it to read in the time left. The reasoning behind my fondness of this book is its slightly supernatrual plot (you have to read it to understand),its literary realism at the introduction, and the emotional rollercoaster of plot twist that it brings you on as you read and learn the details behind each and every character. The prospect of being able to communicate to such a larger amount of people intrigues me. Specialized languages such as sign language could open up a gateway to a whole new world of people that I could never have truly understood, or just widely spoken languages such as Spanish or mandarin, that could opened up a whole new culture for me, one that I could've never experienced without learning it.
