         <description><![CDATA[<div><mark>Conjunctivitis</mark> is an infection that can also be known as, "pink eye". Conjunctivitis is caused by a bacterial or viral infection, and can be also be caused due to an allergic reaction. The infection caused inflammation in the conjunctiva that lines an eyelid. The blood vessels in the conjunctiva are inflamed and it is when the eye appears to be pink or red. This infection can be passed on easily from person to person.</div>]]></description>
