Thurgood Marshall gave a big speech in the Supreme Court to help stop segregation. Martin Luther King Jr. also helped stop segregation with a big speech. Thurgood Marshall was the first African American justice. That shows how brave he is and how much he wants help stop segregation. Martin Luther King Jr. didn't use any violence and gave a big speech to stop segregation. And he became a civil rights activist to make everyone's rights fair and stop segregation. That's how they are good leaders. Yogi Berra spent over 40 years as a professional baseball catcher, coach, and manager! He was one of the greatest catchers. He was also an 18 time All-Star and 10 time World Series Champion! He was elected into the Hall of Fame in 1972. Yogi put his professional career on hold and joined the Navy in World War 2 to fight with Allied forces on D-Day. He also earned the Purple Heart award!
