Differentiate it from other similar terms: they are not idiots because they don't place a priority in studies, nor are they bullies because they don't always pick on people, they are especially not athletes even though they both compete in sports as an athlete would mingle with almost anyone.
Example of jock:  Stifler(mom) from American Pie who always went after the girls and never mingled with the nerds.

The attention they receive gives them a good feeling and boost their self esteem and self worth.

Differentiate it from other similar terms such as showing off and exhibitionist. An exhibitionist behaves in an extravagant way to attract attention while a show off is an individual who makes a deliberate display of one's abilities or accomplishments.

Example of an attention seeker: constantly updating your Facebook status. in order to gain their friends attention, through likes and comments whilst assuming people care about everything that they are doing.
Example of a show off: Displaying a car proudly.
Example of an attention seeker:  Donald Trump

Donald Trump is an attention seeker because he is self centered, constantly wants to be in the media and he will do anything just to be in the spot-light. for example speaking out with extremely racial prejudice. i.e claiming that all Mexicans are "drug dealers and rapists"

A drama queen is defined as a person who habitually responds to situations in a melodramatic way. Google.com

A heavy misconception is that 'drama queen' only applies to women because females are seen as more emotionally unstable than males, however guys can be drama queens too. Also, the use of the word 'queen' in the phrase further strengthens the fallacy.

A term commonly associated with 'drama queen' is 'diva'. The difference between the two is that divas are spoilt and have to have things their way. However, drama queens are people who just overreact in every situation, no matter small or big.

Kim Kardashian is a prime example of a drama queen. There was one episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians where she lost her USD$75K earrings in the ocean and started bawling hysterically even though she's filthy rich and can easily replace them. Usually, drama queens are infamous for their over-expressive selves.
  
A drama queen is a man or woman who enjoys the spotlight and expresses their emotions strongly compared to other people.

Stupid and dumb cannot be used to explain the term as it is not related to intelligence but more about laughable behaviors.

An example is Anne Hathaway's role in 'The Devil Who Wears Prada'. The goofy manner she displayed was entertaining and managed to attract a big audience. In the context of daily life, a 'mangkuk' could be someone who is likely to trip over his/her own feet, or accidentally enter into an opposite-sex toilet.

To recap a 'mangkuk' is someone who often unconsciously makes a fool of themselves which ends up entertaining people around them.

  • Bohemians are those that have good fashion sense but try to break the "fashion rule" while LALA is those that have no fashion sense at all but trying to act as they have very good fashion sense. 
  • LALA is more to like they showing off their fashion which is not fashion at all.
  • LALA can also be kind of same as attention seeker, but in a different way. They seek for visual attention
  • Example : wearing heavy make-ups , overdress. Have brightly-coloured hair.

      Kiasu can be described as a person being very anxious not to miss out on an opportunity. Unlike an overachiever or a perfectionist, kiasu people don’t just compete with themselves but also with other people who they feel are better than them. They tend to be more annoying and irritating towards others having to constantly compete with them. For example, a person with a kiasu attitude doesn’t care about receiving a perfect score on a test, but any grade as long as the person manages to be the top scorer. 

      Essentially, a kiasu person is someone who is afraid of losing out. A kiasu doesn’t have the need to surpass their own standards but other people’s achievements instead. They place themselves in a competitive state all the time to strive to be the best of the best.
