Transcendentalism can be summed up as people wanting others to live simpler lives and wanting people to be consumed by greed. It's a mindset that every person, no matter their status, knew at birth that everyone is equal and no one is better than them.

Some Transcendentalists like Henry David Thoreau wanted people to live simpler lives and not be stuck in bad routines that disconnected them from nature. "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" by Judy Garland has a much deeper meaning than first believed. It helped people understand that there is always tomorrow, and tomorrow can always be a better day, so you just need to tough it out and keep looking forward.
