I consider how the concept of “mutual aid” helps reinforce this motto, which is showcased throughout the film with the main characters sticking together during critical times. I argue for the importance of mutual aid since it leads to collaborative thinking and additional support from individuals.&nbsp;</p>]]></description>

In this piece, I present Stevenson’s argument that the death penalty is inadequate since it raises ethical and racially motivated concerns. Stevenson argues against capital punishment and instead for other forms of punishment, like rehabilitation.</p>]]></description>

In this analysis, I consider how Sandra Cisneros in the text reflects on how Esperanza's experiences showcases the challenges of adolescence. As Esperanza transitions into adulthood, she learns she has no choice but to confront the violent realities of adulthood as a woman with limited personal autonomy.</p>]]></description>
