I would  suggest for someone else to read this great novel. To me this book teaches life lessons on the right and wrong thing to do in life. As the author of "Secrets in the Shadows" Anne Schraff Uses Roylin a teenage boy at Bluford High School as an example  of how pressure to please someone can hurt you. Roylin wanted to impress a girl named kori and because of it one of his friends died. Not only is one of his friends gone but someone is out to destroy him .
