They are just repeating what they heard from someone else. They spread the drama without knowing the true facts of what happened. They could be sharing lies for all they know. Not only does gossip make the person spreading it look bad but depending on what it's about, it could hurt someones reputation. However, not just any teacher, one that is in charge of a course that is made to educate teens about dangers in gossiping and starting drama. This course can include other topic as well like bullying and other social issues. In this course the teacher can make games to teach about the harms of those social issues. The whole class could watch a couple of videos showing the effects gossip has on its victims.
