I remain passionately concerned about enforcing an end to dog fighting. Stopdogfighting.net states that there is still about 16,000 dog deaths in the U.S. due to dog fighting (stopdogfighting.net). Some gangs are even having dog fighting and gang rape events (ThinkProgress).Investigators have found a rise in underground dog fighting gangs (SFGATE). Many people still believe dog fighting is a sport, although it is only an "athletic game" for the dogs in the ring.(Debate.org) I believe we should have more undercover agents scope out dog fighting ranks.
