September 22, 2024

I will practice Thought-Stopping Throughout the week to discourage me from negative Self-talk. I will conduct this practice everyday and record the amount of times I successfully utilize it within my phone per day. I have to remember to be mindful and practice as Persistent Intrusive Thoughts may hinder my practice. In addition, if my practice of Thought-stopping is inconsistent it will affect the outcome of my results, however, I can counter this by building a routine that includes reminders to continue thought-stopping throughout my day.

September 28, 2024

Throughout the past week, I have been attempting to practice Thought-stoping to assist in providing me a clear and more postive mind to reduce stress. Overall I belive that I did rather well with this practice, and averaged a log within my phone of 6-8 attempts per day. I definitely noticed a difference in my moods throughout the day and felt less stressed as my mindset was more relaxed and positive. From this experience, I was able to witness how impactful your mindset/perception can be on how stressed you feel. In the future, I aspire to continue these practices and implement them until it becomes a habit for me.
