The Diary of the Wimpy Kid by James Landa

Greg Heffley has a journal and his mother bought it. When Greg becomes famous, he doesn't answer people's questions. He'll be famous, but he's stuck in high school with weirdos. He thinks middle school is for losers, and he says the grade is for height, not age. He also says that girls like popular boys. He also talks about the curse of cheese, saying that it is like lice. To be careful, cross your fingers. He also explains that in the summer his older brother woke him up, and Greg thinks he has to go to school. It also says that you think of Rodrick, set your expectations really low. When it was Saturday, his father came early, He goes to Rowley's house and explains about Rowley. He also has a brother named Manny, who Manny doesn't get into trouble with and Greg can't tease him. But Manny calls Greg a "Bubby" instead of a brother. Greg also explains that he plays video games with Rowley and at home, but his father makes Greg go out. Fregley is a weird kid. Not only is Rodrick a prankster, he is a drummer and the head of the band called Twisted Celebros. Rodrick has a truck and the father hates the band, his mother likes the band. Greg one day grabbed one of his brother Rodrick's records and played it at school, but was caught by a teacher. Greg plays it on Friday night, he was punished. Then he says that he is not the only one in trouble, and it is Rodrick who had a magazine with a girl in a bikini. Manny brought it in for show and tell. Greg discovers how to sneak video games in front of Rowley's father, and Manny is playing Greg's video game system. Greg joins the student election, and a boy beats him up. Greg had the idea to create a haunted house, but it failed and Rowley got into trouble. Halloween arrives and Rowley has a costume, while Greg does not. He becomes a pirate and some teenagers sprayed them. Greg and Rowley ran home a few pages later, and their father threw water into a trash can. Greg wants to exercise so I create weights. Mom signs Greg up for a play, but it turned into a fight when Patty Farrell, who made him fail the test by throwing apples. Greg is looking forward to Christmas and has a lot of silly things and a great wheel. He knocks out Rowley, but broke his arm in January. Rowley is famous and joined to be Security Patrols and comics for the newspaper. They made a snowball and planned to hit the kids, but failed when Frank destroys it and the kids throw snowballs. Rowley is suspended for being framed, and Greg tells the truth and the friendship ends. They had a couples sleepover, while Fregley and Greg had a sleepover. He realized that he had to be more famous, so he wanted to be the class clown. Rowley wins the comic newspaper, but got into a fight a day later. Then on October 31 they came in and made Rowley eat the cheese. Greg lies about having the curse, and Greg and Rowley become friends again. The yearbook comes out, and Rowley is a class clown. He says he's going to let Rowley have it, but if he bothers Greg, he'll tell everyone who ate the Cheese.
