At first I thought the cloud was somewhere Apple stored my music, photos, and contacts, and then I watched the videos before class and realized that was just a small portion of what cloud computing meant. Cloud computing is when you access items such as documents and or files from the internet or "the cloud." Cloud computing was something I was already using in my classroom and for my PLN. In the classroom we use Google Classroom as a way to make assignments and they are normally completed on Google Drive. I did not quite understand the power of Google Drive until I got into this class and all of the options I had. I thought it was just a place for students to share documents with me. Boy was I wrong! In our PLN we use DropBox to share large files, and Google Drive to share files and for our PLCs. After class one, I added Diigo to all of my computers and am thankful I did because it helps me keep all of my bookmarks organized. I especially like the different tags you can use. Overall, cloud computing is a powerful tool, and I think I have just found the tip of the ice burg.

Using the different tools on Diigo is also amazing, I like highlighting and making notes and being able to view them later.
