Pathos means feelings like you feel pathetic or stupid for not doing this or that. The song "I will remember you" with puppies in the background makes you feel sad and want to buy the dogs or cats but i'm not a fan of cats so forget about them.

Ethos is when the people that work in those big businesses and want you to buy something . The way they make you buy something is by getting a famous celebrity and make them say "this changed my life blah blah blah." One example of this is " The General" they get a famous basketball player and he wasn't even that good but they still want to get there insurance because a famous basketball player has this insurance, shoes, car etc.

Logos is when your not sure about something and then "WHAM" they hit you with a whole bunch of facts that give you a reason of why you should buy this and how it will save your life or make your life easier. Some examples of these are whenever you see a poster that says " wash your hands or else you might get this" and then it gives you a whole bunch of infections names or names of sicknesses. Another one is when they say if you smoke then its basically you putting bullets in a gun and shooting yourself in the lungs.

There are three other rhetorical devices i have and they are...
1st is Anaphora at its what Shakespeare used to do with most of his plays. it is when they keep repeating things and it gets stuck in there head.
2nd is Hyperbole, hyperbole is when they exaggerate and exaggerating makes you feel secure of easy. example: " I've done this a thousand times"
3rd is my favorite because i use it the most, its Metanoia. Metanoia it when you correct yourself and make it greater. example is "im the best player in this town, nay in this country"
