One thought I have about what we have discussed today, is that I really like how the book Animal Farm starts off by giving insight on how the animals feel about the passage way of life that they were given. It's a topic that is not new and has been argued about for decades but also doesn't get enough recognition I think.

I found out that Old Major resembles Karl Marx and the pigs in Animal Farm resemble the Bolsheviks in the Soviet Revolution. Also, Mr. Jones represents the monarch leader of Russia at the time of the Revolution.

one thought I had while reading is how the animals all come together like if they have had many conversations like this in the past. the animals feel they are being mistreated so the master pig is trying to change the way they are being treated.

I can understand how the animals might feel like they are slaves and are only being used. Major was speaking to all the animals about how men are enemies and animals are friends. They sang a song together that woke up Mr. Jones. The chapter ended with him firing shots at the farm.

I enjoy the new type of writing idea which advocates and helps fight against animal cruelty and testing. "Animal Farm" helps us think and explore the point of view of animals and how they react and feel in living in such horrible and violent conditions. By creating a new perspective for the reader, it creates a new perspective on animals themselves and who they are to us.

In the chapter we can see that the animals are really unhappy about how they were treated, and it makes sense that they feel bad about people because of that. It's sad to see them go through it.
