Frodo is a kind, clever, and determined hobbit. At times, Frodo can be timid and scared. Frodo is static, his goals and morals don't change throughout the entire story. He wants to destroy the ring.

They had to leave the Shire. They went up against Black Riders, Orcs, and other creatures. They also went through places like the Old Forest and the Mines. Frodo and his friends could not have made it through all of the monsters and scary places without courage. The monsters were very interesting and made the story exciting. I liked that they had a quest to destroy the ring. I like goals and trying to complete them. I did not like that hte quest still is not over. It has taken a long time. Also the book can be slow and very detailed. It looses your attention at times. Overall, I recommend this book.
