What I Did This Summer

This summer, I went to Seattle, WA, Portland, OR and Greenwich, CT. We attended my cousin's wedding last Friday. The president of Fordham University, Father McShane, married them. Here's a picture of Ruby and I at their wedding.

My Favorite Book

My favorite book is In a Dark, Dark Wood by Ruth Ware. It's about a murder at hidden estate in the woods. There are so many twists and turns, and it keeps you engaged throughout the whole novel.

My Favorite Sport

I run varsity track and field. I've been doing track for the last seven years, and have absolutely fallen in love with it. I compete in the 100M, 200M, and Long Jump. I currently hold school records in the 100M, 200M, Long Jump, 4x100, and 4x200. My best times in the 100M and 200M are 12.49s and 25.91s, respectively. I was also recently named to the 2018 All-District and All-City Track and Field teams. Here's a video of me running the 100M Dash (I'm in the neon orange).

I am currently watching the Texas Senate election very closely. Beto O'Rourke is running against Senator Ted Cruz. This election is very important because Texas may be making a political shift from red to blue.
