It’s one of the templates from classtools.net, a webpage full of templates to create free educational games and tools for the school classroom. SMS Generation allows users to create a fake conversation in a mobile phone shown on the screen. Users can add comments and then save the conversation. After saving it, they are able to get a QR code, a URL link or an embedded code of the web shortcut (It shows an animated version of the conversation)

Activity: the class needs to be divided into pairs. In each pair there’s a Student A and a Student B. Students A have 5 minutes to guess what Students B did last weekend but they have to do it without talking. They are going to use the SMS Generator to ask and answer yes/no questions. When the time finishes they have to save the conversation, get the QR code or URL link and paste it on a shared Google Docs with the name of the person who asked the questions next to it. After that, sts do the activity again but reversing roles. Students B are going guess what Students A did last weekend. When they finish the teacher delivers one of the QR codes to each student to paste it on the notebook. Then, they have to scan the code, read the conversation and write sentences on the notebook about what their classmate did last weekend.
