This is a tomb of ancient Egypt of which they put a pharaoh in. Pharaohs played an important role in Egyptian religion. They were believed as the "living Horus", who was a god of Egypt. The people of Egypt obeyed everything the pharaohs said. This also represents mummification. Which played the part of delivering the diseased to the next world. The people of Egypt thought that if they could help them get to the afterlife, this was the way they could help.

This is the Egyptian cross. It was a hieroglyphic that meant life, so this cross was their symbol of life. The gods could often be seen holding one cross by the loop instead of the handle. Or they would be seen holding one in each hand by the handle.

This is an image of the goddess named Isis. Like I said in the Egyptian cross, she can be seen holding the cross by the loop in her left hand. She was the wife of Osiris or, the god of the underworld. They had a child named Horus. Like I said in the pharaoh tomb image, the pharaohs are also known as the "living Horus", so she was pretty important. They made a temple for her, like they do with all gods and goddesses, called Philae. It is still standing on an island in Egypt today.

This is a temple that the Egyptians used to worship gods and goddesses, but this temple was built for the goddess named Isis. The temple's name is Philae. It is where the Egyptians go to worship and attend to the needs of gods and goddesses. The priests is the one who always takes care of the temples and the gods/goddesses.
