         <title>Sahara Desert</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Sahara desert is a biome that, has little rainforests less than 50 centimeters per year. Sahara's temperatures vary greatly between day and night between 30-47 degrees. It has very hight evaporation rate. &nbsp;<br><br>The NPP of Sahara Desert is about 500 kilocalories/m2/year.&nbsp;<br><br>One of the major limiting factors of NPP is low availability of&nbsp; water.          <description><![CDATA[<div>The southern ocean surround the large island of Antarctica. It comprises over 20% of the worlds seawater, and has varying NPP based on a number of factors<br><br>1. Season. The net primary productivity of this ocean largely depends on the season. Change in season often involves temperature variation and weather variations.&nbsp; &nbsp;<br>2. Global Warming. When the sea surface temperature increases beyond the seasonal average, the net primary productivity decreases given that less plankton (producers) are able to survive. Hence NPP decreases.<br>3. Sea level. An increase in sea level creates more surface are for plankton to grow. This will directly impact the NPP of this ocean, and essentially any ocean. <br><br></div>]]></description>
