I have a work experience placement at Boreham Wood football club A media intern.

My job involves creating content for social media and generating ticket sales for games.

Matchday -1: Pre-match interview with the manager, edit, upload and post interview to generate hype for the game.

Matchday: Run all social media channels during the day of the game (twitter, instagram and facebook), live twitter updates during the match, post match interview with man of the match from Boreham Wood and a post match interview with the manager (Edit and post both of these the night after the game).

I have also had roles including writng match reports, filming for the games, creating behind the scenes videos and fan reaction videos.

We went on the day and created a package to be shown at the charity's Gala dinner fundraiser on the 12th November.

On the day I interviewed Frank Bruno, James Wright (Mental health and wellbeing coordinator), Brandon Eldred (Chief operations officer) and Anthony (a former graduate from the course and current volunteer)

The show started as a sports based show and involved interviewing local sports people with talks about their favourite songs and music intertwyned. The show evolved to a solely music show and is on weekly at 9pm on a saturday. The show normally involves 3 of us but most weeks I end up creating the shows on my own (Producing, Presenting and editing).


I have started working for River Radio at the Extra time segment. Extra time is a Thames Valley based sports round up that happens every wednesday at 6pm. The show features presenters who talk though the week of sport and my role is to be a reporter/interviewer (mainly for basketball but also for other sports - Wrestling, Ice Hockey and Football). I was on the production team and was tasked with being a producer. 
Me and the other producer had to work with QPR to liase how the day would run, create scripts, running orders and help and adress any problems that occured on the day of filming.

We were split into groups of 6 and we had to create a short TV show around a topic of our choice.
We chose the FA Cup game between Boreham Wood and Eastleigh. I worked as a reporter on the show and had to interview the Boreham Wood manager specifically for the show.
I also had to direct when we were filming in the studio and had to choose between camera angles and direct presenters to certain cameras and help guide them through the show.

This was a great experience, although a bit nerve-wrecking, and something I have always wanted to do since I was a boy.
