The first call he had with the police he completely denied the event but after another interview Jay changed his story completely. Jay revealed the location of Hae's car which proved to police that he knew something. Jay said in his first interview that he dropped of Adnan in the city and never saw him again but later he said that they smoked and hung out the whole day and even went to a friends house. Jay changed the location they shopped that day and where the two of them got food. However their were two really big changes in his story. Jay said that he saw the body outside a strip mall where a lot of crime and drug dealers hangout then he changed his story. Jay said he saw the body outside a best buy which could have had cameras. But Adnan doesn't remember her at all, making the police to determine Jay as the more credible evidence. On the contrary, Adnan's cell phone pinged to a cell tower that covered Leakin Park, Best Buy, his house, and the mosque. Asia sent letters to Adnan about the day Hae went missing. The 21 minutes after class and before track meeting is the time Adnan can not account for and the state says he killed Hae during this time. Asia remembers being in the library after class and talking with Adnan for 15-20 minutes which would mean he did not kill Hae. Asia sent a few letters to Adnan and he passed them onto his Lawyer. Adnan's Lawyer never looked into Asia, never talked to her, never asked her to write an affidavit or appear at trial.
