According to the population pyramid graph Canada's total dependency load is 35% which is lower than both Japan and Mali. In Canada, children in the range of 0-4 is 4.9% of out population which is higher than japan and lower than Mali. Which shows us the the birth rate in Canada isn't high at all. People age 75+ makes up 8.6% of Cnada's population which is higher than Mali and lower than Japan. This tells us that Canda's life expentancy s pretty good.

Canada's dependency load is 35% is probably because there aren't a lot of kid 14 and under but there are a lot of people who are 65+. People in the age of 0-4 only takes up .9% of Canada's population. This is due to the fact that our fertility rate is 1.4. It can also be due to the fact that the average age when immigrant children come here is 5-7 years old. A third reason could be that people do not want children and just want to focus on their careers and enjoy their freedom. 8.6% of Canada's population is 75+, the reason why it's more than the children is probably since the baby boomers (people born in 1946-1964) are getting older. The number of babies born in this time was about 76 million, therefore explaining the amount of people who are 75+.

Total dependency in japan is 41.6%, this is because they have a low rate of obesity and a unique diet which keeps them healthy. Due to their traditional diet of high soy and fish in their diet, people in Japan significantly have a lower risk of cardiovascular disease. Children age 0-4 are only 3.3% of the population. Japan's fertility rate is 1.34 because numerous Japanese youth have refused to wed or have families, discouraged by less work opportunities, corporate cultures that are unsuited both parents especially working women, and the lack of tolerance of children in public. Many couples also hesitate to have children because of the rising expenses. Japan's elderly population (75+) is 17% of the population. This is because after World War II, when the average life expectancy was 50 years for men and 54 years for women, the life expectancy at birth climbed quickly, and since the 1950s, the share of the population 65 years of age and beyond has been rising continuously.

In Mali the total dependancy is 49.2% making it higher than both Canada and Japan. Mali's 0-4 range is 18% making it higher than Canada and Mali. Which indicates that Mali has a high birth rate. On contrary Mali's 75+ population is pretty low, only taking up 0.6% of the population whic is lower than both Canada and Mali. This shows us that the life expentancy in Mali is pretty low.

Mali's total dependency is 49% this is due to the fact that Mali has a lot of children and a few old people. The fertility rate in Mali is 6.04 this explains why children 0-4 take up 18% of the population. Another reason why this cohort is so high is because of the persistent desire for big families, early childbirth, poverty, a lack of female empowerment and education, and a remarkably low rate of contraception use. In mali people who are in the age range of 75+ are 0.6% of the population. This is because the meningitis and diarrheal illnesses are two conditions that frequently result from not having access to clean water and account for a large portion of mortality in Mali. Another reason why is the long-standing restrictions on services related to maternal health.
