United States allow many television commercials to run in order to inform pregnant individuals the importance of prenatal vitamins. While Japan does not consider prenatal care to be something covered by health insurance (Chaulk, 1994).</div>]]></description>

         <title>Specific example of how the culture of a country affects access to care</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Countries that use the power of stakeholders differently would be the United States and Mozambique, Africa. In Mozambique pregnant individuals are not allowed to decide how they are going to give birth, it is up to their husband or their mother in law (Action for Global Health, 2013). Also, in Mozambique, even if a pregnant women decides to have a child with supervisor from doctor, there may not even be a doctor available (Action for Global Health, 2013). While in the United States, the pregnant female has the freedom to decide how to have a baby, as well as pick from all the available clinics in the United States to choose. </div>]]></description>
