Hi! My name is Seoyoung (Christine), and it was so nice to meet you through our virtual meeting :D

I wanted to talk to you about a day in the life of a senior at my school. As a senior, I'm really busy and here is why...

Our entire senior class is preparing to go to college, which means writing our college applications (which is an extensive process). Not only that, we have to also keep up with academics. Though my coursework is less rigorous than last year, it's been tough for me to complete my college applications while studying for tests and quizzes every week.

BUT.. what makes this all worth it are my family, friends, and teachers. They've all been really supportive of me throughout high school, and it's nice to see among my friends that I'm not the only one struggling (haha). After school, sometimes we would go to nearby stores and buy ice cream and snacks. This helps relieve some of the stress I've been building up during the school day.

I get home to rest for a bit, then do some homework and finish my college applications. Before I know it, I wake up for the next day.

That's what I have been doing for the past three months now. What about you? I'm really looking forward to hearing about what you do at school or what you're passionate about.

HELLOOOOOO SEOYOUNG!!! It was an incredible experience to talk with you through it would be better if it was face to face 🤗

I am in the 10th grade and I usually chill around since I dont have that much exam pressure (not yet at least :D) Rest assured I am not completely unattended the idea of studying I still do study.

And a day with me probably not that interesting however you asked for it so here it is!

We have 7 classes. Each day we usually have 3 different compelling subjects. (I somehow find a way to survie throughout these lessons :D) During breaks if I see my teachers I talk with them a bit since I love all of my teachers. They all are sweet towards us.

I usually hang out with my friend Elif except the fact that she is taller me I love her (No need applaud I know I am the best friend ever :)

My favorite subject is Physics since its the only lesson that I study regularly. I love how Physics is anywhere in our life. Even the simplest things that we do regularly has to do something with Physics.

And on my way to home I listen music. I cant live without my earphones. I like to listen The Weeknd, Katy Perry and the populer songs that we see everywhere. I don't have a specific type in music I listen whatever sounds great in my ears.

My name is Asel. It was really nice meet you. I want to tell you about one of my days. I am in the 9th grade . I am excited to have just started high school , I am seeing new lessons and subjects, although this challenges me a bit , my days are really fun :)

Frankly, at firs I was afraid of high school life , but it is not at all what I feared. I have about eight lessons a day and my lessons are fun ( especially physics and math lessons). After school, I usually stay for our school's choir practice( dealing with music makes me feel good )

After wards, I go home and rest, do my homework and play the saz ( I have a very special bond with my saz, my soul is at rest while playin the saz an this really increases my energy.)🙃

I would like to talk a little about my hobbies. As I mentioned before , I like to play saz , listen to music and sing . I also love warching movies, I usually warch fantasy, thriller, comedy and science fiction movies :)

I hope we can meet in person. I'm 15 years old. I'm in 10th grade at Selim Nevzat Şahin Anatolian High School and I love math the most. I love playing instruments; it's my favorite hobby. My favorite sport is volleyball. I usually listen to classical music. My best friends are two Korean siblings. I was in their elementary school class. They moved to another city later. They used to visit me often during the holidays, but I haven't had the chance to meet in person for a long time. They're in Korea right now, but I don't know which city or school they're in. It was great talking to you anyway.

Our school finishes at 12:30 pm. After school, I do my homeworks first because when I finish everything that concerns school for that day, I don't think about it until tomorrow and it's way better. After that, it's my free timee!

I want to talk about my hobbies. I love books very much. Sometimes I read book like 4 hours a day and I forget everything about chores :) I am also interested in sports. I like volleyball most. I am in the school volleyball team. Ve practise twice a week. Our matches will start soon. Also I like learning new languages. I take English lessons once a week.

Today, I’d like to tell you a bit more about myself.

I’m in 9th grade right now, and exams are coming up soon. To be honest, I’m feeling a bit nervous. I even took a short break from my sports classes to focus on studying. I’m trying not to put too much pressure on myself though — I hope I’m doing the right thing.

During breaks, my friends and I usually chat and walk around the school together. After school, it gets pretty crowded, and everyone quickly heads to their buses.

When it’s not exam week, my daily routine is usually coming home, resting a bit, doing some sports, and then studying.

I really enjoy watching animated shows and movies. They help me escape from the boring reality of everyday life for a while. My favorite show is Steven Universe. Its creator, Rebecca Sugar, is amazing! The music and the animations she works on are all wonderful. Whenever I feel down, I just put on my headphones, listen to one of her songs, and it instantly makes me feel better.

My name is Onur. I’m in the 10th grade. I’d like to tell you a little about myself.

I really enjoy listening to music, especially pop and rap. Music always helps me relax and feel motivated. I also love watching animated series and movies, as well as live-action films and TV shows.

In my free time, I like playing football and badminton. I can also play the piano a little — I’m not perfect, but I enjoy it a lot!

One funny thing happened at school with my friends. We were studying together before an exam, and one of my friends kept acting like a teacher, pretending to quiz us and correct our answers. The funny part was that when we got our results, he actually got the lowest score among us! We still joke about it sometimes. 😂

I'm Seowoo, and I am in 10th grade and I'm new to St.Paul.

I used to live in the States for 2 years and a half and this year, my family moved here back to Korea.

I'm also stressed about schoolwork right now. I used to practice my flute daily for fun and had some free time to watch movies and have friends and family time when I was in the States. But after I came here, I'm also focusing on studying until I find a good schedule. I'm also struggling to find my path, and I doubt myself a lot during the process. But one of my mindset that I assert is that the future me will think these doubts is nothing and just keep it as a good memory. Maybe this idea will make your worries feel better. ☺️

I'm also a great movie fan. I don't watch a lot these days, but when I was a kid, I used to watch at least one movie a day from Disney. My favorite movie is Kung Fu Panda because it has comedy, and I like the character. But I like mystery animation as well, such as Attack of the Titans.

Because of all these test and assignments, I usually stay at home and finish them until I go to sleep, but when I have free time (I hope I do this month), but like I mentioned before, I like to play my flute, do a running workout, have some good food, and have a great sleep.

The thing I want ot ask you is what major do you want to pursue when you grow up? Or what accomplishment do you want to achieve?

During school break time, I usually study for upcoming tests. It gets busy when there are a lot of tests in one week. When there are no exams coming up, I rest and hang out with other students.

I like to listen to music. I usually listen to music while walking and going somewhere. My favorite genre is rap and ballad. At home, I do my homework and also rest. I rest by watching YouTube and playing games.

Mt favorite food is ramyun. I sometimes eat ramyun at night before sleeping, which makes it more delicious.

Firstly I wake up at half past six on weekdays but on weekends I wake up around nine o'clock to release tiredness that I got from weekdays. After school I play piano for a while and do my homework or study for exams. After that I have dinner around half past seven o'clock and have and have a rest. Finally I study foreign languages for a couple hours and then I go to the bed. That's my a normal daily routine. To talk about my hobbies I really into music such as folk and classical music in addition I am interested in chess especially watching chess matches that make history. I am a 9th grade student as well, and this is my first year in high school too. I was at the same school since 7th grade, and I also thought all the lectures were too difficult as first.... haha. I currently am learning biology and the basics of computer science, and I am having real fun on making my own projects on Scratch!

In our school tests, the questions differ: the world history tests are mostly composed of writing, and the biology tests are focusing on MCQs. We have.. about 3 to 5 answer choices. Our school finishes at 3:40. I was shocked that you end in 12:30! I really envy that part of you. haha

I am very happy to hear that you are interested at sports! I am also interested in sports. I.. unfortunately, I am not really good at sports: I am not in any varsity, but I have massive interests in sports like basketball and baseball. I wonder if they are famous in Turkiye too!

I like learning new languages too - but I don't have the time to do so, so I do my duolingo lessons :)

This is my first year in high school. I was nervous and everything was very tricky at first. But now, I am kind of used to it. Still I am trying to get better.
