a) all students, faculty, teachers and staff must wear mask at all times. All students are tested weekly and if negative they should be able to mingle with people/kids in the same dorm and small group classes

b) continue covid testing once a week and reporting to the school community and parents. I thought this was very well done last fall with the weekly email updates from the school

c) designate an isolated building for quarantine if any covid cases were found. Kids should be moved there immediately if found positive with covid until they recover. All close contacts tested starting with their dorm mates.

d) allow some small groups (4 kids + 1 teacher) live classes to be held at least 2 times a week for group discussions, interactions with other students and teachers

e) arrange for kids to do some outdoor activities or athletics with all the open space and grounds that Andover has. For 11th graders this year, it is so crucial but all their athletics and club activities were cancelled so any communications/ideas/solutions from the school to help these kids in athletics and clubs will be helpful as they will probably need them in their college applications.

f) consider delaying the start of summer break to make up for lost time in live teaching classes and school syllabus that can't be entirely covered during the shortened remote classes. Also give the opportunity for kids to work through or revisit challenges they have in their studies for the whole year.

Thank you for your time and your efforts in letting us share this with you.
Jennifer Chin
