The video and the map tells us that the black death spread through many cities by people and marine routes. The clip later on tells us that the plague also spread by fleas and rats. Beginning in southern China in the early 1300s, the Black Death killed millions. The transmition cycle is, a flea drinks rat blood that carries the bacteria, then the bacteria multiplies in the fleas gut, after this the fleas gut is clogged with the bacteria, the flea bites the human and regurgitates blood into humans wound. The Genoese merchants at Kaffa were fighting a war with the Mongols and Legend has it that the mongols spreaded the plague by catapulting dead bodies (that died from the plague) into the city of kaffa, this spread the plague further because the disease is highly contagious. The residence of Kaffa panicked, and tried to despose of the bodies by dumping them in the black sea. this then spreaded the vicious plague to other countries (shown in the map). It is also beleived that the mongols poisened the city of kaffas water supply.

The strike of the black plague disharmonised towns and cities. The streets quickly filled with dead bodies and all civilization was lost. People fled there towns trying to find a safe place for their families, but there was no success. From this they further on carried the disease to other places. eventually the people who were still alive tried to find a cure for the plague. A cure was fire, people made them everywhere. this caused a lot of pollution the the towns enviroment
