I don't really know how to explain why I like it so much, and I don't have a very broad art vocabulary yet, but it just feels like enlightenment in mograph form. I love the still photo images at the beginning and end that sit motionless and sandwich the moving parts. I like how they had a whole minute animation to show their gratitude for chocolate. But at the same time it was also a recognition for how long that company has been around and a background of how they've been making their chocolate. After sifting through a few of the animations I saw, this one really caught my attention. I love the use of detailed backgrounds yet simple shapes used for the subjects, I also really love the harsh constrast that they use throughout the animation. The fast paced scene switches to show continuity is something I noticed too, and I really love it. 

It makes me think of another animation, The Wolf, which uses only three colors and stitches together fast paced scenes in order to make the entire music video look amazing.

I really like how there's only one subject (the roasted poultry) being displayed in what appears to be the dark void. Then colorful lights appear putting it in the spotlight as it begins to sing. Next a transition occurs and now the poultry is jamming in sync to the music. In this animation, you can see the main character Yoann Lemoine who is the singer-songwriter of Woodkid. As a fan of the singer, I wanted to share this video because Wun Hsu does an excellent job capturing the essence of Yoann Lemoine and all his work. He shows us the black and white colors that Woodkid uses on most of his music videos. The animation and storytelling match the song's mood. And how Wun Hsu adds all those references at the end of the animations from other Woodkid videos is just brilliant. This animation makes me think of all the situations I had to overcome in my life, all the lessons learned, and also gives me the motion to keep going.
