      <description>As practice group leader with the Maricopa County Attorney&#39;s Office, Colleen Connor serves clients in the greater Phoenix area and beyond. Knowledgeable on Arizona election law, attorney Colleen Connor guides a team consisting of 13 lawyers and staff members. 

Ms. Connor provides elected officials and departments at the county level with representation on issues that include budgets, contracts, procurement, and public records. Among those she has guided through settlement negotiations and potential litigation are the County Attorney, County Board of Supervisors, and County School Superintendent.

Ms. Connor completed her bachelor’s degree in English at Fordham University and earned her JD at the University of Baltimore School of Law. She gained experience as assistant attorney general in the late 1990s and provided the Arizona Secretary of State&#39;s Office with assistance in campaign finance enforcement and election law matters. 

Prior to joining the Maricopa County Attorney&#39;s Office, she was executive director of the Citizens’ Clean Elections Commission and oversaw a system that distributes public funding for election campaigns.
