Start with a broader context: The introduction begins a little abruptly. Consider opening with a few sentences about the significance of heading in football and how it's an integral part of the sport. You might then introduce the emerging concerns, supported by evidence, around increased risks of neurological issues—such as dementia—in players who frequently head the ball. This will help ease the reader into the topic more naturally.

Structure and flow: At the moment, the content jumps between different effects of heading (e.g., cognitive, visual, saccadic). It would strengthen your argument to first discuss the broader cognitive and motor impacts of heading, then move into effects on vision and perception, and finally focus specifically on microsaccades. This progression will make your argument more cohesive and easier to follow.

Research gap: There's no need to include a separate 'Research Gap' section. Instead, try to weave this into the final part of your introduction. You can use this space to clearly highlight what’s currently unknown or underexplored, and how your project addresses that gap.

Referencing: Lastly, please make sure all your references are primary sources and follow a consistent referencing style throughout. At the moment, there are some inconsistencies that need tidying up.
