Depending on where piolots work that how much they get.1.If you work at a regional airline in the U.s they typically start out making $20-$50 per hour. or about $20,000-$40,000 per year depending on the airline, type of aircraft and the pilots experience level.
2. If you work at an aircraft it depends on the type of aircraft that they're flying and how long they've been flying at an airline. The median annual salary for the pilot of a large jet is about 121,408. If you fly a small jet the median annual salary is $104,219.
3. Each airline has its own pay schedule but nearly all offer standard raises annually. Thanks to the steady increase airline and commercial pilots can expect to work their way up to a median annual wage of about $117,290 or higher. Pilots experience is the biggest salary increase in their first five years. This increase is often larger for the first officers than for the captains and the largest jump salary often occurs after one-year.
