Until they were deported by the government because they were considered a threat to appropriation of the land. Some went back to France while others went to Novelle France or the 13 Colonies. Deportation - The British Government sent the Acadians to France, which is where they originated from.
2. Forced Migration - After the British banned Acadians from coming back to any British colonies, which gave them no choice but to relocate.
3. International Migration - Some Acadians moved from the British Colonies, to France, and then a Spanish colony.
4. Pull Factor - The good relations between France and Spain resulted in Acadians chose to take oaths of allegiance to the Spanish government, and move to Louisiana which at the time was a Spanish Colony.
5.  Push Factor - Acadians had to move away from all British colonies.
