I like Paper Towns because it’s about Quentin following his dreams and discovering himself. His friends help him work out where Margo disappeared to and on the journey to find her, but Quentin is the only one that believes in himself and he exhausts himself even though he knows it might not work out. He puts himself through lots for Margo and he doesn’t know whether it will be worth it or not. I like that there are also small victories for Quentin and his friends, such as graduating, which they start preparing for at the start of the story. 

My favourite character is Margo because she’s so adventurous and is always getting into mischief. She’s spent a lot of her time planning adventures, including a big one, so like Quentin she’s trying to follow her dreams. Sometimes she’s a bit careless about other people and she can have a mean sense of humour, but lots of people like her. Her goal is to keep to herself and she has it all planned out.
