Vancouver is important to me because my in-laws live here. I spend many holidays in Vancouver, and I love it because I get to go hiking and skiing! Canada is easy to travel to because it is so close to the United States, and their culture is very similar to America's.

Madison, Wisconsin is important to me because that is the city where I went to college. I loved my time living in Madison because the campus was surrounded by two beautiful lakes. In the summer my friends and I would go for walks on the lakeshore path and watch the sunset. In the winter, the lake would freeze and we would get to walk on the frozen water.
