In the holidays, (no idea what date) Mhairi and I decided we would go down to Avalon beach for a run, swim and to discuss our ideas for our research studies project. We ran half a lap of the beach and then gave up, instead deciding we would go for a swim. We went in to our hips. We thought maybe doing ‘Why you should have voted yes’ for our topic could be a good idea. Mhairi and I also argued if the project had to involve an experiment AND I WAS RIGHT!

We have decided to do the ‘why you should vote yes’ topic because it would be pretty ‘darn awesome’. Our interdisciplinary topics could be social, historical and political. We could focus on the different sides of the argument and look into the history of peoples opinions on the subject, the media influence and social perspective, and the political views of the marriage equality debate. Not quite sure what the final product would be- maybe a video, or debate skit to show the arguments and perspectives.
