This page is a platform for students in the Chinese Program (including alumni) to share internship and job-related information. Here you are welcome to: (1) Share your own experiences in searching for internships/jobs, along with advice for new students. (2) Post internship opportunities you know of. (3)Write about the type of internship/job you are looking for. (4)Leave comments under other students’ posts. Internships may be related to Chinese, but they do not have to be. Please keep all information accurate and reliable. You can click the “+” button at the bottom right to create a new post. For each post, it would be greatly appreciated if you could include the following information: (1) the posting date and a brief self-introduction (you may also leave your contact information if you wish), (2) your Chinese class level, (3)a short description of the internship (or your search), (4) how you found it, and (5) any additional suggestions. New posts will appear at the top of the group. Your sharing may help many fellow students, and you may also benefit from others’ posts. We sincerely appreciate your contributions!

Hello! My name is Will Arpornsuksant, I am currently a Junior studying International Business. This was my internship during the summer!

My experience in finding this internship was asking around in my clubs if they needed any help for any position in a national organization. I joined Camp Kesem as a Freshman and was looking around for internships when I went to the Camp Kesem website for internships and applied there.

Every Fall/Summer/Spring rotation, they have internships for a time so that people can apply and interview for the position. You will need to get an email from them, as they will email people who have experience with Camp Kesem! They have positions from marketing to finance to operations. So, if you do not find what you are looking for, they might have it in a later rotation!

Currently, I am looking for a Supply Chain Logistics Internship with an International Business lens.

I recommend that people really go into their cover letter and treat it as an assignment that is 80% of their grade, because it is when looking for internships. People's resumes are mostly the same unless you have some crazy internship, so buffing up your cover letter will help a lot more, especially when applying for these internships.
