The novel "Oliver Twist" is written in 1838 by Charles Dickens of his complete title " Oliver Twist, yet, Boy's The Parish Progress " in summary this novel speaks to us about Oliver Twist who is is born orphan in England of the XIXth century. Badly fed, exploited from his youngest years, the poor boy endures everything with patience. But he refuses one day the inequitable treatments which he undergoes and runs away towards London. Exhausted, starved, he is taken in by a young band thieves. He discovers then another world, so cruel, where the guile and the strength are the best weapons.

The difficulties are such as the family finds itself in big poverty and such as his father is imprisoned for debts. In just twelve years, Charles Dickens finds himself used on a simple factory of shoe polish.
