7th June 2022 onwards:

- No deposit is required from guest for incidentals deposit.
- All payments to be made directly to the restaurants. ( This is not applicable to shipping guest as their booking terms come with dinning such as lunch and dinner to be billed back to their company. )
- No post to be indicated.
- With immediate effect, all room charges under pax account will now need to be charged upon check in.

Handling guest without reservation in Opera

Dear Reception Team, take note the below points when handling guests checking in without reservations/bookings cancelled/holding vouchers but unable to locate in the systems.

1. Try searching Emails if can locate guests name
2. Seek assistance from DM if available. We can ask guests to contact their TA if need to.
3. If guest claims room charges to TA, you still need to take pre-authorization from guest credit card to cover room charges till CRS confirmed that billing is to TA.
4. Proceed to create new booking following same rates as per voucher.
5. For Pax Acc collect payment as usual or refer to Sales if CORP.
6. Email to CRS & place a Trace in the system for daily follow up.

I know our CRS will take many days to get back to us, therefore we have to safeguard ourselves. There was a case still pending in our PM, guests turned up to check in holding TA voucher but no booking in the system. We proceeded to check them in without collect any deposit, turned out, the booking was cancelled by TA and guests were supposed to pay.

Most of us here are new and still learning but please follow the SOP. Don't be shy to seek help if in doubt.

Take note guests who make reservations via Booking. com, be it under PAX ACC or VCC, if they need to Invoice during check out you can print out and give them. This only applied for Booking.com. Other OTAs is NO NO as the rates are confidential

1st July:
We will be changing Dnata current payment from credit term to VCC.

Please see below information on Dnata VCC:

1. The VCC payment can only be charged on check-out date and valid for 30 days.
2. The hotel will be given an access to Dnata portal so that FO can run the arrival report for VCC details.
3. The new VCC payment only applies to new bookings made from 1 July onwards. Bookings that are made before the change, hotel will still need to upload the invoices to Dnata system and payment is with 30 days credit term as per current process.
4. Do note that once we convert the payment to VCC, no contra off bookings can be done for any brochure contribution, campaign, etc.
