You are involved in research that is focused on AI/AN children. The intent of this work is review risk behaviors of AI/AN children, specifically urban-dwelling AI/AN and provide recommendations and implications for intervention strategies. The methodology proposed would be community-based participatory research (CBPR) through interviews of urban AI/AN youth only.

-After reading Kahn et. al's article (2016) and utilizing your own Traditional Knowledge Systems, how would you approach this research?

-Is it ethically-appropriate to conduct CBPR on urban AI/AN youth? Who would need to consent to their participation?
