         <title>Sport England: </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Sport England is the company name for the English sports council. This company is a non-departmental body under the department for Media, Culture and Sport. <mark>Structure</mark> - Sport England is made up of a board, that consists of the Chair of Sport Englnd (Nick Bitel) , Vice-Chair (Debbie Jevans CBE), CMO (Kate Bosomworth).<br> <mark>Roles</mark>- Sport England has many roles including: recruiting volunteers, coaching and officiating, assuring the sports facilities used are adequate and in charge of most community sports activities. Responsibilities- They are responsible for grassroots sport in England.&nbsp;<br>Sport England has created an alliance (Sporting Equality Alliance) that target particular groups within the community that are lacking in participation in sport. this then helps promote the Women's Sport Foundation, Sporting Equals and English Federation of Disability. &nbsp;<br>They offer a few initiatives such as 'This Girl Can' this is a nationwide campaign, the aim is to get women and girls, no matter the size, shape or ability, to g them moving and taking art in sports. another initiative they offer is 'I Will if You Will' is a programme sport england have invested £2.3m into, this programme provides sports sessions/clasees for women. This was put in place to encourage all women and girls everywhere to participate in some kind of sports.&nbsp;<br>Sport England use a method called TAES (towards an excellent service), this was developed by parks and open spaces, sport and recreation to underpin continuous improvement. It supports organisations and partnerships to carry out self-assessments and plan for future improvements as a part of service planning. the advantages are it improves business standards. however, it comes with disadvantages such as: it will cost a lot as it is an external improvement. Another methods of measuring quality in sports in Club Mark, this is Sports England accreditation scheme for high quality community sports club and stands for Higher Standards of Welfare, Equality, Coaching and management.&nbsp; The advantages are its internal which means it wont cost loads, however, you would have to pay someone to go tot he clubs and do it, which may lead to debts if they are a non-profit organisation.&nbsp;<br>(SportEngland.org)</div>]]></description>

         <title>Tees Valley Sports:</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Tees Valley Sport is one of the nine County Sports Partnerships in England, they are known to "improve the quality of life of all residents in the Tees Valley area by increasing participation in sport and physical activity" They aim to promote the principles of child welfare, provide the leadership and action to address inequalities and promote inclusion (teesvalleysport, online). <mark>Structure</mark> - Tees Valley Sport is built around a partnership of agencies committed to providing a high quality system for people to benefit from sport and physical activity. The partnership includes many districts such as: Redcar, Middlesbrough, Hartlepool, Darlington and Cleveland &amp; Stockton-on-tees. As well as national governing bodies like Sports England, equality partners, sports coach UK and further and higher education. The coach development manager is Victoria Auton and Jean Lordon is the executive director for tees valley sports. <mark>Roles</mark> - Their role is to "promote child awareness, provide leadership and action to address inequities and promote inclusion, but also to celebrate the value of sport and physical activity as an enjoyable and positive life choice". They host a charity called Charlotte's Tandems that lends tandems for free to anyone with a special need or disability just so they can enjoy cycling. Also, they offer a tees valley wheelchair sports club, this is to promote the any wheelchair uses to participate in sports. <br>(teesvalleysport.co.uk)<br>They measure the quality in sport using Quest <mark>method</mark>, this is when a national equality system that is used for assessing the management of a sports development scheme; they can either self assess or industry standard. The advantages of this method are it improves standards of coaching and workers standards. However, they have disadvantages such as, it would be expensive as it is an external improvement and could potentially close down. Another<mark> method</mark> used is Investors in People (IIP) which is the mark in a high performance in business and people management with a community across 80 countries worldwide, sign of great employment. This comes with advantages such as: it would be cheap as it would be internal improvements, however, it comes with disadvantages like you would have to pay soemone to to go to clubs and do it, which may lead to debts if they are a non-profit organisation. &nbsp;<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <title>Youth Sports Trust:</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Youth Sports Trust is an international company, they are a sport for sport development charity and is known to be the international arm of the Youth Sport Trust. they believe they are improving lives of young people. they help people who are fighting poverty, they want to bring about effective and sustainable change. They also believe they re promoting well-being, leadership and achievement.&nbsp; this company has aboard which is ran by Neil Davidson (CBE) whom is chair of the board, the following people help along side Neil as they believe in the same mission: Billy Downie, Dr Paula Franklin, Denise Gladwell and Tim Hollingsworth. This is classed under consultation groups as they are parts of other teams in different areas. The Youth Sport Trust has many <mark>roles </mark>such as building the foundations of movement from early stages all the way through to secondary. This is equipping children with confidence, and enjoyment within spots. they also help children aim towards leadership and help them try and achieve their goals. <mark>Responsibilities </mark>- consists of getting children back into sports, however they work across many areas such as: mental health, physical education and achievement. Initiatives include Saisburys, they promote a scheme called 'active kids holiday club' this is to promote the amount of children to part-take in physical activity. another scheme is 'YoungMinds' which is ran by Chief Executive Emma Thomas. The aim of this scheme is to help young children with troubled minds, who are struggling with mental health problems. They measure quality through self reviewing, this is accessible through their website. This would be classed as TAES. Again the advantages are it improves business standards but also cost lots as it would be an external improvement.
