Have you ever been in a class that used CWPT? Did you find it helpful? Why?

I have not been in a class that specifically uses CWPT but i have been in classes where principles from CWPT have been used. When partnering with classmates, I found it helpful because there is encouragement from your partner and less pressure than having to respond to a teacher. It is also motivating to have competition between classmates.

I've not personally seen it in a classroom yet, however it seems like it could be useful as long as you have students that are capable of staying on task by themselves, and not getting distracted.

I have never seen CWPT used like how you describe it. I will sometimes pair up a stronger student with a struggling student and have the stronger student be the teacher, but it's very informal and unstructured. I really prefer this way because there are designated roles and procedures to follow.
