You can buy a Sim card from phone dealers. You should go to shopping malls for shopping. For example Cevahir, Kanyon, İstinye, Vadi İstanbul, Akasya, Watergarden shopping malls etc. There 're too many shopping malls.
There 're too many museums. You should see Topkapi, Dolmabahce, Beylerbeyi Palace, Basilica Cistern, Miniaturk, Koç Museum, Galata Tower and etc.
You can also go to concerts and watch football with your friends and family. İt has became a place where young, healthly people live.

İt is too tiring for everyone but, children, older and disable people are more tired. The government should spesific arrangements for older and disable people. Public transportation improved but the city should provide to reaching easier for these people. The overpasses is also terrible for younger.

There are too many motorcycle everywhere. The pavements aren't safe as well, motorcycle drivers ride dangerously on the pavements isntead of on the streets. The cars are parking in fround of the disable's ramps. There isn't the yellow lane my neighborhood for the visually impaired. We need safer ways and sidewalks.

There aren' t enough parks every neighborhood. There should be less builts.

I love istanbul. I'm happy for living in istanbul but at the same time l want to move to smaller city in Anatolian. Because istanbul is a very interesting city, it has too many beatiful things and too many problems like most of the other big cities. İt has too much beatiful seaside but it hasn't enough public area that there. If you want to your spare time at the seaside unfortuanately you have to spend too much money in that places such as cafes, restorants. There are too many historycal places and museums in İstanbul. But most of them dirty and neglected, their cost of entry is too expensive and their visited hours are too short. İstanbul is a very crovded city. There are over population and illegal imigrants problems so there is too much unemployement and affodorable housing problem. Living in istanbul gets be too much hardly and expensively. İstanbul 's ways are unplanned and too narrow therefore if there is a any problem such as fire, accident neither fire brigade nor ambulance able to go there and you can be late for work or school at least two hours. İstanbul has too many cars and too fever parking area so people is too much angry in traffic. There aren't enough green area for Kids, old or unhealty People and animals. If there are any space area in your neighborhood you have to share animals and every age's groups people togetger. But some people afraid of dogs or cats unfortuanately some of pets owner doesn't sensitive their fear. Other problem is pet's poop, this is too much problem everybody. The goverment has to solve as soon as so probably.
Semra balıkcıoğlu

I have been living in Istanbul for 17 years. I came to this city 17 years ago, after nine days of my birthday. I love this city very much. This city is like a place my second time birth for me. I like the crowds, the streets, the history endless activity day and night of this city.

Of course, it has some problems,

For instance ( example) This city should provide more security for those living in the city. We, the people who live in this city have too much traffic all the time. Especially, during commuting hours and for those living far away. Another problem with traffic is that there are too many cars. I think people should use public transportation more. Because it is enough for people living in the city. You can also reach all parts of the city by it. That’s why there should be fewer cars.

Also, Most of people don’t ride bike in this city. Because there aren’t enough bicycle lanes. The city needs more.

These are just some of the problems.

However, the positive aspects of the city are much more than the negative aspects. There are too many tourists in the city. It is among the most visited ciities in the world.

Istanbul is a big and historical city. The city is built on two continents, Asia and Europe. One side is called Europa and the other side is called Anatolia. That’s why there are too many historical places to visit. It has Europe and Anatolian architecture. You can visit this places all the time. Among the places you can visit are Maiden’s Tower ( Kız Kulesi), Galata Tower ( Galata Kulesi, Basilica Cistern ( Yerebatan Sarnıcı), Rumeli Fortress ( Hisar), Anatolian Fortress, and the mosques, museums, churches on both sides. Also you can go to the Prince Islands by ferry. You can have breakfast and dinner by seaside. But I wouldn’t recommend going on public holidays because it gets too much crowded in that days. Istanbul has a lively nightlife. It hosts all kinds of music and people. Especially you can hear the sounds of music until the mornings on weekend nights.

Also You can attend concerts (even buskers and street concerts), film festivals, theatres. These can be local or worldwide.

I hope you have a great time in Istanbul.

With Love

Emine

Istanbul is the most crowded city in Türkiye. There are too many people and cars, resulting in heavy traffic. There should be fewer vehicles on the roads to alleviate traffic congestion. Additionally, there are numerous historical sites, bazaars, and shopping malls. Places like Sultanahmet Square, Balat, Üsküdar, Karaköy, and Istiklal Street will impress you with their historical atmosphere. You can travel around easily using public transportation, especially the metro or ferries, which saves you time. I suggest avoiding taxis. There should be less air pollution to improve the overall air quality in the city. Although prices vary from district to district, you can choose Eminönü for affordable shopping. However, the housing prices and rent are too high. We need more affordable housing options to address the housing shortage.

Istanbul is home to many magnificent landmarks, such as the Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. We can find a lot of tasty foods in Istanbul, like kebabs and sweets. The streets in Istanbul are busy with numerous colorful markets and friendly people. The big bridge in Istanbul shows the city from far away. There are several museums in Istanbul where we can learn about history. Istanbul has buses and trains that go everywhere, so it's easy to travel. But sometimes there isn’t enough time in the day to accomplish everything we need to do. There are also some problems in İstanbul. The air in Istanbul is dirty because there are too many cars. We don’t have enough public libraries for residents to access educational resources. Also there is too much junk food available, contributing to unhealthy eating habits. Even with some problems, Istanbul is still fun with its music and busy streets. And finally I think people should work together so that Istanbul becomes more comfortable and lively.

Best regards.

Civan

I feel lots of emotions about this city. Day by day this is growing. It has positive and negative impact. İstanbul's population is too high. Transportation systems aren't enough according to this crowd. Mornings, people discuss or fight with each other to get on bus /metrobus/ subway. In my opinion this is terrible because people start the day with negative energy. People who live in want to bu car to achive somewhere easily. This situations make traffic. Sometimes ı want to cry because of traffic. From stop that is close my home to Yenibosna Subway takes one hour if there is traffic. I feel as if ı cross the Bosphorus Bridge. We have too many cars but there aren't enough parking spaces. If you ask me There are no parking spaces. People park their cars in spaces where there is no parking. This also causes traffic. There should be more parking areas.

on the other hand Transporttaaion system is impriving. Anymore we should reach many historical areas. I love it. Specially ı visit from beyazıt to Eminönü. there is crowded. People may be tourists, worker or people live in. This area should provide more meeting someone. If you visit there, You should walk. Parking space is too far. I think we can get to know the environment more easily by walking. There are more historical buildings. When I see them, ı feel peaceful.

This is İstanbul. At the same time you love and hate it :)
