A2
Academic book's advantages: 1. The thesis is systematic, mature, and more scientific. 2. Professional problems, theoretical practice, more professional. Disadvantages: 1. Some technical words in academic books are difficult to understand. 2. It is not conducive to the protection of intellectual property rights and Copyrights, and the interests of authors are vulnerable to infringement. Yes, we can. Because We can read a lot of materials to enrich our knowledge, and we can also learn some academic writing formats.

News Websites' advantages: 1. Making full use of multimedia technology, the content of the communication is diverse. 2. Strong immediacy, can roll the report, instant update. Disadvantages: Due to the large number of people participating in the network communication, the purpose of the communicators is hidden, and the quality of the communicators is uneven. Therefore, the reliability and accuracy of the information on the Network are relatively low, especially in news reports, and people are still more inclined to trust the authoritative newspapers and TV stations. Yes, we can. Because it is much easier to produce and distribute online news than newspapers, radio, and television.

Newspapers' advantages: Wide readership; Large circulation; Detailed text explanation can be carried out; Various forms of layout design can be carried out; Large information capacity. Disadvantages: Small distribution area; Low repeat reading rate; Not easy to preserve; The color is monotonous and the visual impact is small; Short timeliness. Yes, we can. Because of the bibliography and the newspaper cited in the text clip, you can cite the newspaper when writing the main text.

Government Reports' advantages: they were highly reliable, well researched, and worth study and scientific use.

Disadvantages: they could not cover every detail. Usually, they tell the general situation or tend. Yes, we can.

Tabloids / local magazine advantages: Short paging at low cost, which makes it attractive for printers. Practicality and convenience of use for readers. It requires less reading time than conventional formats.

It usually comes in the company of photographs or big headlines.

It is a modern and very popular format.

Greater visibility of advertising for the reader. Employing the tabloid format not only avoids wasting paper but helps to take advantage of a larger printable area, project print sizes, calculate, and give the user comfort when taking and reading printed material.

Disadvantages: They are generally not as effective as other media in offering reach and frequency. Yes, we can.

Lecture Notes' advantages: They are brief and short, and they are very clear for users to use.

Disadvantages: They could not show the whole structure of the point, nor are they reliable because those who wrote them might make mistakes. No, we can't.

YouTube Contents' advantages: it allows users to search within it for videos on a wide range of academic subjects. Most of the content is aimed at university-level students, but maybe accessible for younger ones, too. YouTube helps expand students' perspectives on cross-cultural understanding. The educational use of YouTube also leads students to academic pursuits and engagement during studying abroad by developing content knowledge and skills in English.

Disadvantages: Increase student's screen time and it kills productivity as there are other videos that could steer their attention away from the educational video. The information can also be inaccurate. Yes, if it is educational and it serves the purpose of the question. But we would have to cite, which would be a little different from the normal citing that we do. To cite a YouTube video in APA Style, you include the person or organization that uploaded it, their channel name (if different from their real name), the upload date, the video title (italicized), “Video” in square brackets, the name of the site, and a link to the video.

Academic Journals' advantages: Academic journals are a favored source of academic information. They usually offer a more current view than do textbooks, and have credibility due to the process of peer review, under which journal articles submitted by researchers are evaluated by experts in the field before being published. Academic journals also promote active reading and provoke deep thinking. They offer a wealth of knowledge that comes critiqued and forces you to critique it also. When you're presented with so many facts in one single source, you're prompted to seek out their sources to verify whether they're true.
Disadvantages: Scholarly journals include information of academic interest, so they are not the best sources for general interest topics. Because the peer-review process can be time-consuming, it may not include recent news or current event information. Yes. It is one of the most common credible sources because they have been peer-reviewed, read, and approved for publication by other authors.

Encyclopedias' advantages: Encyclopedias give more comprehensive information than library books or any other reference materials. While encyclopedias are useful for personal knowledge growth, they are also useful for professional research. Encyclopedias offer exhaustive information on specific topics for professional purposes.
Disadvantages: With technology being more advanced nowadays, people would switch to online encyclopedias and it would include dependence on information technology, high initial cost, quality control, and citation. Encyclopedias are considered scholarly source. The content is written by an academic for an academic audience. While entries are reviewed by an editorial board, they are not “peer-reviewed”. Encyclopedias are great as sources of background information but most university professors prefer if students used academic sources in their essays and research papers, so using an encyclopedia as a source might lead them to believe you haven't done very extensive searching and reading on your topic.

A3
1. A literature review is a document or section of a document that collects key sources on a topic and discusses those sources in conversation with each other (also called synthesis). There are a number of different situations where you might write a literature review, each with slightly different expectations; different disciplines, too, have field-specific expectations for what a literature review is and does.
2. We have to make sure the sources are well-chosen and your research is thorough. So we can use scholarly publications and journals as they are more credible and have been peer-reviewed.
