Share initial thoughts:
- What inspires you the most reading this essay? Share memorable quotes and your takeaways later.
- One line from the essay is: “Is solidarity just a lot of healthy friendship?” What do you think is the difference between friendship and solidarity, if any?

Draw your "Constellations of Care":
- People: Who do you care for? Who cares for you? Is there a network in which you and others support and nourish each other in meaningful ways
- Activity: What rituals and activities make you feel authentic, grounded, connected, while embracing yourself “as the whole sun” you are (in words of one of the essay’s authors)?
- Experience: What experience have you had that made you feel a sense of isolation, lack of care, and/or marginalization? What has helped you to navigate that? Or what do you wish you have had? (Can also change the question to the present tense)
- Larger-than-individual factors: What resources, systems, and/or institutions enable you to receive and/or give care? (E.g. your social class background, family resources, school, healthcare policies/institutions, being in the “majority” in one way or another, etc.)

Big group discussion:
- Anyone who wants to share their drawing with everyone?
- Anything interesting that came up during your sharing?
- What emotions came up as you did this activity (drawing first and then small group sharing)? Was it satisfying, inspiring, confusing, challenging?
- How would you like to nourish and expand your care constellations during your college life?
