  • As a young child, Sheila was forcibly removed from her family as part of Australias stolen generation and was taken to ST Josephs Orphanage at New Norcia Mission in WA.
  • Sheila began to paint as a means of proscesing trauma she had expiriencd suring her life.
  • She is a prolific artist whoose work has been displayed internationally and has even been included in the Guiness book of world records as the largest peice of Aboriginal work.
  • Despite much heartache and pain, her paintingsand personal stories reflect healing, reconcrialation and faith.
  • She is the mother of eight, grandmother of 30 and great grandmother of 18 children.
