Soft lighting, Dramatic lighting, and Harsh lighting. for my final result i choose to do Dramatic light and soft light but i prefer the dramatic one i felt like it had more detail and it has some color. light will help me w my investigation for when i shade or want to set a mood for the setting.

the Color investigation taught me a lot about the color wheel. there are Triad, Monochromatic, Achromatic, Complementary Colors etc. color is important to a drawing because it gives it character and brings it to life that is why i will need color for my investigation.

1. WHAT questions are guiding your sustained investigation? i say the question would be what kind of good and bad things go on.
2. WHY are you interested in investigating this idea? i am interested in this idea because everyone sees the good and bad, in this drawing specifically its about that a person can thing of both at the same time.
3. WHAT materials, processes, and ideas have you explored in EACH piece? HOW is
each piece different from the next? the materials i used was a pencil, paper, markers, & crayons. the different ideas i was thinking was what should i draw in the bubble. & i say the other ones are going to be different because they are going to get better.
4. WHAT drawing skills are you exploring (e.g., mark-making, line, surface, space, light
and shade, and/or composition)? i am exploring using colors, and drawing in general.
5. HOW have you experimented with materials, processes, or ideas? i experimented with the crayons on how to make it blend i wasn't successful and my background wasn't so good.
6. HOW have you practiced with materials, processes, or ideas? i practiced my drawing and lines.
7. WHAT revisions or changes have you made as you have been working? i ended up changing the girl's hair and the thought bubble shape.
8. WHAT visual sources have you used in your work? If you’ve used the work of others, list their information here and describe how you have changed the image to show your individual vision. so i just got ideas from google on how to draw curly hair and lashes i just saw pictures and attempted it.
9. WHAT insights, discoveries, or inspiration have you gained as you have been
working? i discovered to do my background first and to make it look smoother for next time.
10. WHAT materials, processes, or ideas will you explore next to further your sustained
investigation? i will try to get color pencils for next time and make sure i plan all my ideas out.
11. WHAT do you hope the viewer will come away with after viewing this work? i hope they get that there is two different types of thoughts, good & bad.

1. WHAT questions are guiding your sustained investigation? a question would be why angels?
2. WHY are you interested in investigating this idea? i am interested because even angels can be "bad" and not a lot of people will think of a angel as bad.
3. WHAT materials, processes, and ideas have you explored in EACH piece? HOW is
each piece different from the next? i seen that since i don't have color pencils the next best thing would be color pens. this piece is different from the last because it is way more clean.
4. WHAT drawing skills are you exploring (e.g., mark-making, line, surface, space, light
and shade, and/or composition)? in this drawing i was exploring clean lines and solid color.
5. HOW have you experimented with materials, processes, or ideas? with the process i always start out by outlining.
6. HOW have you practiced with materials, processes, or ideas? i practiced coloring with pens.
7. WHAT revisions or changes have you made as you have been working? i ended up doing a gray color for the background and adding a little halo and devil horns at the top.
8. WHAT visual sources have you used in your work? If you’ve used the work of others,
list their information here and describe how you have changed the image to show your individual vision. i searched up good and bad angels on google and a similar picture popped up. on the original it had hands and the devil one had a tail in the background.
9. WHAT insights, discoveries, or inspiration have you gained as you have been
working? i discovered using pens is actually kinda nice.
10. WHAT materials, processes, or ideas will you explore next to further your sustained
investigation? i think i'm going to keep using pens for my future projects.
11. WHAT do you hope the viewer will come away with after viewing this work? i hope they know that there is a good angel and a bad angel.
