_{This is another image that I chose to emphasize my love for nursing and education. Through this image, I see either a nurse or a student nurse writing down some vitals, probably with an anxious patient on the other end asking questions like, “Are these vitals okay?” or “What does this mean?” It brings me back to my own education. The education I’m receiving is what will help me answer these questions, and without the support I’ve received to learn how to do that, I don’t believe I could be successful. This image reminds me, once again, of the importance of advocating for what I need in order to help others.}

_{I chose this specific image to express that I am advocating for everyone. It doesn’t matter if it’s a learning disability or a physical disability—I stand for and will advocate for anyone. This image also highlights the importance of accommodations in medical environments. Many people with physical disabilities are told they won’t be able to complete certain tasks or jobs. While there may be limits in some cases, that doesn’t mean they’ll never be able to do those jobs.}

I really believe in advocating for yourself, which does mean fighting for your rights if they are being violated. _{I specifically chose an image of gravel to depict the law. A lot of people don’t understand that accommodations aren’t just something schools generously give they’re a human right. If you have a learning disability and have been granted accommodations, you have the right to use them . If these accommodations are denied, it can be considered a human rights violation. I wanted to include the idea of law in this assignment because I think it’s important to understand that schools have a legal and ethical duty to support you.}

_{I chose this image because I wanted to depict the struggle that those with learning disabilities face, as well as how having your rights or your voice not heard can often make you feel very lonely and very depressed. I thought this image really encompassed everything I wanted to say. I see a student here in a classroom who looks frustrated, which is something that often happens with students with learning disabilities. To be honest, having a disability is hard, not only for the person who has it but also for the people trying to help. It can be frustrating for everyone, and I thought this image did a good job of depicting that frustration.}

Students with learning disabilities are often recommended or given permission to record classes to review notes later, as auditory processing can be challenging for some. In my case, this accommodation was granted to me, and I actively use it. I included this image to reflect the importance of supporting students with learning disabilities through accommodations.}

This is also an accommodation that I received, and I really do think it makes testing a lot easier for me.
